The Sanctuaries

Keith GibsonKeith Gibson:
Baritone vocalist and pianist for the group, Keith is the father of Darris G. Moody, and Grandfather (‘Granddaddy’) of Lydia Moody. Keith is the husband of Ollie E. Gibson, having been married since January 23, 1959. In addition to Darris, they also have a son.

Darris G. Moody:
Darris is between Keith and Lydia in age and is basically the alto vocalist of the group. Her performance and knack for finding the harmony not is awesome, and always pleasing. She is Lydia’s mother, Keith’s daughter, and wife of Chuck Moody.

Lydia MoodyLydia Moody:
Lydia was born in 1989, and performs well for her age. We believe God has inspired Lydia to sing with the Sanctuaries. When she began filling the lead part at the age of nine, and no one had showed up to fill the need, we believed if it was God’s will, that He would groom her into a fine gospel singer. God has blessed Lydia with a great voice, and she is well on her way, in voicing the praises of Jesus, and to God be the Glory. She is beginning to sing some harmony notes, as well as singing the lead.

Ollie Gibson:
Ollie is the wife of Keith and participates as a staff person of the Sanctuaries. Her duties are the part identified as hard work, not much recognition, but a dire necessity. Her services vary from helping regulate the sound, equipment set-up, to just downright servitude. Following a terrible accident in 1997, it is a miracle Ollie is alive, and anyone in the group can expound on this subject at anytime.

Charles "Chuck" Moody:
Chuck is the husband of Darris and they are the parents of Lydia. He is considered to be a staff person. His primary duty is CD and tape sales, but also helps with the sound equipment.

Wayne Crowe:
Wayne has left the Sanctuaries back in early 2003, and we wish him well. He is doing some solo work in addition to serving in his home church. Our cordial thanks to Wayne Crowe.
